Background
Chapter 2 of Daniel is one of the most remarkable chapters in the Bible. It gives us a prophetic outline of the history of the Gentile nations as it relates to the nation of Israel, from the time of Nebuchadnezzar to the establishment of the Millennial Kingdom by the Second Coming of Christ. God spoke this prophecy through a dream to the vile world ruler Nebuchadnezzar.
