Lesson Six—Daniel 12: The End to Come

Background

This week we will study the events about which Daniel was told that will culminate at the end of the age. Think about what it would have been like for him to hear and receive all of this information, but not fully understand it. Daniel had seen the power of prayer and of God’s power and sovereignty, so he had no reason to doubt what he was being told. To be given a glimpse of the horror that would eventually come to the world must have been overwhelming and heartbreaking to this faithful and obedient old man.
