Background
This week’s narrative might be familiar to you, but we are going to look at it through adult eyes instead of the childhood version many of us know. The plots of man will not prevail—that statement was true for Daniel, as we will study this week, and it is true for us. As we are reminded in Psalm 2, our God laughs at the plans of man.
