Dear Heavenly Father:
Thank You that I have been redeemed and forgiven and that I am Your child through the abundant grace of Christ. Thank You that my salvation is not based on what I do or don’t do, but on what Jesus did for me. Father, I can do nothing without You, but everything through You. Please help me on my way of faith, and may I always live my life to the praise of Your glory.
In Your precious Son Jesus’ name I pray, Amen
Memory Verse
“But when the fullness of the time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons and daughters.”
Galatians 4:4–5, NASB
Background
Paul changes tactics and tone in this section of his letter to the Galatians. He has spent the earlier part of the letter reminding them of the pure Gospel he had taught them. Now pastoral Paul will remind them of their personal relationship with God and, most importantly, who they are to God!
