Background:

The verb “to see” includes much more than just the work of the eyes. It means to behold, consider, discern, take heed, perceive, regard, and think. You see, spiritual sight happens when our minds, hearts, and spirits take information from our eyes and hold it, with open hands, before the throne of God. Jochebed and Miriam were women of vision, with a legacy of keen spiritual sight under the pressures of immense darkness. A holy and eternal God preserved the final legacies of their lives in Scripture.

Memory Verse:

“Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.” (Proverbs 4:25–26, NIV)

Reflection:

Is there a circumstance or a problem where you are finding it hard to be obedient to Him? Spend a moment in prayer seeking Him and His heart this week.
