Romans was written by Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles, to the church at Rome. Paul calls a spade a spade with respect to the devastating nature of sin, but he also shares some of the most encouraging passages in Scripture, detailing God’s infinite love for mankind and the power of the cross to defeat sin, restore us, and keep us in a right relationship with God.
