In week one of the Covenants series, we will look at God’s relationship with Adam and Eve, particularly after they disobeyed the command to not eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. We will see the elements of a covenantal relationship emerging in God dealing with his wayward creation. We will also look at the first use of the word covenant with Noah and how God commissions Noah as a second type of Adam in order to renew the world after the judgment of the Flood on the earth.
