Titus 3

Background:

Chapter 3 concludes Paul’s general statements about church structure and behavior. The Cretan church had become distracted from its witness by getting wrapped up in disputes and fights over divisive and non-essential matters. Paul speaks as a kind father in the faith, giving Titus and the believers in Crete some gracious reminders of how to live and follow Christ.

Memory Verse:

“Because of His grace He made us right in His sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.” (Titus 3:7, NLT)

Reflection:

How does your life exemplify the “right living and good deeds” that sound doctrine promotes?
