Father:

Let everything I have learned this semester studying Joshua take root deep in my heart. I pray that as I complete this last week of study, You will show me where I need to humbly submit to serve You with my whole heart.

Background

These final chapters serve as Joshua’s farewell address. He reminds Israel of God’s faithfulness, warns them against idolatry, and challenges them to renew their covenant with God because they will soon face life without his leadership.
